Potential Graduating Seniors and Parents:
Congratulations on making it to your last few weeks of high school! Barring any unforeseen issues, you are on your way to achieving your goal of earning your diploma. Our staff is so proud of you! Here’s what you need to know about the BIG day!
Before Graduation:
1. Tickets for graduation:
15 tickets will be given out per family. There is not a waiting list for additional tickets. Students/families are welcome to reach out to their classmates to see if anyone has tickets that will not be used that they can share.
Unfortunately, we do not have replacement tickets. Please be sure to keep track of your tickets.
Children ages 5 and younger may enter without a ticket. These children must sit on an adult’s lap.
Tickets will be available starting on Monday, December 11 in the Pantano front office. Office hours are 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Tickets must be picked up no later than the graduation breakfast.
2. Caps & Gowns:
Where? PHS Office
When? Immediately
How Much? $30.00 (Check (made out to Josten’s), Cash, or Credit Card)
Can we decorate our caps? YES (Must must be school appropriate)
3. Fines & Fees:
The district requires all fines and fees to be paid in full. Diploma’s will be placed on hold until these are resolved. If you owe, you will be contacted in a separate email.
4. Graduation Day:
Morning:
December 20th - 9:00 - 9:45 Graduation Breakfast at PHS
- 9:45 - 10:00 Drive to Empire High School
(transportation will be provided if needed) - 10:00 - 11:30 Graduation Practice
Do I need to bring my cap and gown to practice? No
Can I leave practice early? YES; Pick-up at EHS or PHS
Ceremony:
When is it? Wednesday, December 20th
Where is it held? Empire High School- Vail Theater of the Arts

What Time? Graduates need to arrive no later than 6:00 p.m.
(group pictures will be taken at this time)
6:15 p.m. Line up for Graduation
Family & Friends: 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. (approximately).
Attire: What do I wear? (Suggested)
Gentlemen: Collared shirts with or without a tie; slacks or nice jeans;
nice shoes; preferably no shorts.
Ladies: Dress or nice slacks; appropriate shoes.
